Warranty Information

PRODUCT WARRANTY & CONSUMER GUARANTEE

For All Customers:

(a) Every TrutecLED-manufactured product is warranted by TrutecLED to be free from structural defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period for A-grade products is 5 years from the date of purchase; for B-grade products, it's 2 or 3 years from the date of purchase. This warranty is valid while the product is in the legal possession of the original owner.

(b) All accessories, covers, mounting options, kits (excluding lights, as per A and B grade warranty), interior dome lights, SMD lights, trims, and infills are covered by a 12-month replacement warranty.

(c) This warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies a consumer has under the law concerning the goods and services to which the warranty applies.

For Consumers:

TrutecLED's warranties come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality, and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Process for Claiming Warranty:

(a) Any items considered to be defective or incorrect should be returned to an Authorized TrutecLED dealer for inspection within 30 days of receipt.

(b) All claims must be accompanied by the original sales receipt.

Repair or Replacement:

(a) This warranty does not cover the cost of removal, installation, or any transportation. Enhanced finishes, such as polishing or powder coating, are not covered by this warranty.

(b) Furthermore, damage or defects caused by collision, alteration, improper installation, road hazards, adverse conditions, or usage for any purpose other than normal private use are not covered by this warranty.

(c) When spotlights are mounted on welded-on light tabs, TrutecLED recommends that the maximum weight of the light should not exceed 1.75kg. In cases where lights are used in extreme or continuous rough conditions that cause the light mounting point to experience ongoing vibration, lights should be stabilized to reduce vibration and fatigue. TrutecLED's warranty will not be valid if a product has been used outside of these guidelines.
